When I arrived, they promptly arranged for a driver, U Soe Gyi, who turned out to be one of the best guides I've ever had. The location of the hotel, just across from the Royal Palace, was a major plus. Additionally, the hotel was accommodating when I needed to change my reservation due to a canceled boat trip, and they didn't charge me for the extra night. The breakfast offered was delicious, and overall, I highly recommend this hotel.

My husband and I had a fantastic stay at Hotel Sahara for three nights. The staff were incredibly friendly, helpful, and went above and beyond to assist us when my husband fell ill. The beds were exceptionally comfortable and the room, although on the smaller side, had a wardrobe and drawers for added convenience. The central location was ideal, and we were able to rent bicycles and motorcycles from the friendly staff. They even let us return the bike after the staff member finished his shift – such great service!
